The llamas we
raise are like
family members and their health and well being are
important to us, even after they leave our care. We
want your purchase to delight you so we will provide
you with the general knowledge and instruction needed
for the care and handling of your new llama. By
purchasing from us, you have become our customer and
our aim is to provide you with unsurpassed customer
support.
When
you decide to purchase a llama from Sugarloaf Llamas, both
parties sign an agreement which provides you with
explicit rights and written guarantees. Your new
llama also will come with a signed, pre-sale health
examination by a licensed veterinarian to assure you
that your llama is healthy and ready to join you.
You
will be provided
with a halter and handling tips for your llama to
assure that you are comfortable with him or her. You
will also be given a copy of your llama's health
history. Any questions you have will be answered.
You
will be informed
of your llama's dietary needs and we will discuss
general "herd health" with you and provide
you with information on vaccinations and deworming.
You
will be supplied
with your llama's complete pedigree recorded with the
International Llama Registry, along with your llama's
ILR registration certificate and registration number.
We will also supply you with information to connect
you with the llama industry, including local and
national associations and llama publications. We will
provide you vendor names of llama supplies and herd
health items as well.
We can
help arrange shipping for you if you desire. We have shipped
llamas across the US and Canada and have used several
shippers. We do have quarantine facilities available
for international shipments.
